Shooting victim Jahleel Goodger needs surgery

By Aaron Humes: This morning’s shooting victim at Vernon and Pine Streets has been identified as 27-year-old Jahleel Goodger, who is now hospitalized.

According to police, Goodger and others were conversing around 9:20 a.m. when an unknown person came from behind the residence where they were and shot him once in the upper back.

Goodger, no stranger to the law, is presently undergoing surgery at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.
