By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Altitude and Benque Viejo United failed to break down each other’s defensive lines finishing their Premier League of Belize match at the Michael Ashcroft Stadium in Independence in a scoreless draw on Saturday night

Though both squads dropped two points, Benque Viejo United were the most affected, falling from second to fourth place. After nine games, Benque have 15 points, behind Progresso (17), Port Layola (17), and Verdes (16).

Altitude stayed put in fifth place with 14 points ahead of Benque Police (12), Bandits (4), and Wagiya (4).

Benque Viejo United might regain some ground on Saturday, October 21, when they visit seventh-place Bandits in Belmopan, but Altitude will have a tougher time against sixth-place Benque Police that same night in Benque.
