Marlon Everett on trial for 2018 murder of Albert Johnson

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A murder case against Marlon Everett for the 2018 killing of Albert Johnson kicked off today before newly appointed High Court Judge, Madam Justice Candace Nanto.

Everett allegedly shot and killed Johnson on April 20, 2018. Johnson was reportedly walking with Everett and two other men when Everett took out a gun and shot Johnson in his head. The incident was reportedly captured on civilian surveillance footage, leading to Everett’s arrest.

The first day of trial concluded this evening and resumes on October 16. Everett is represented by attorney Bryan Neal.
