The Ministry of Infrastructure Development & Housing informs the general public of the commencement of the Construction of Joe Taylor Bridge in the Toledo District, an infrastructure development project that will bring significant benefits to the surrounding communities and improve public and road infrastructure.

Civil works include removal of the Joe Taylor bridge in preparation for the construction of piled foundations, the construction of a precast reinforced concrete triple span bridge with a total length of 25meters.

Works are scheduled to commence in early November and for a duration of 15 months. The public is asked to use the Carib Reserve Road as an alternate route. Drivers are asked to exercise caution at all times, maintain safe speeds, and obey caution signs when provided.
