By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belize Women’s National Football Team (BWNT) are taking on Turks and Caicos Islands for a second time in five days in Concacaf Women’s Nations League C, a tournament the regional organization calls Concacaf W Road to Gold Cup.

The match kicks off at 7:30 at the FFB Stadium in Belmopan. Belize are being led by captain Sabrina Eiley in their fourth game in the present competition.

After flogging Turks and Caicos 6-0 away, the BWNT are the clear favourites for Monday’s night’s match which could propel Belize to 12 points, six more than their closest competitors, Aruba, who today beat Bonaire 5-0.

Coach Wayne Casimiro’s has chosen the following 11: Jasmin Armstrong (1) in goal; Mikhaila Bowden (4), Shadette Lino (3), Vaylene Lambert (16) in defence; Ashley Rodriguez (6), captain Sabrina Eiley (8), Roshanny Narvaez (9), and Jennisha Scott (13), and Kaite Jones in midfield, and Khalydia Velasquez (10) and Tamara Baptist (14) as forwards, according to Concacaf.
