Football Federation of Belize calls off U20 Belize National Men’s Team weekend training due to inclement weather

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Football Federation of Belize (FFB), on Friday at 1:00 pm, called off the Under 20 Belize Men’s National Team weekend training due to the rainy weather prevailing over Belize.

The FFB had planned a training session for Friday and Saturday, November 3-4, at the FFB headquarters in Belmopan. Twenty-six players had been called to train under the guidance of head coach Dale Pelayo.

The U20 BMNT are preparing for the Concacaf U20 Men’s Qualifiers that are to be held in Managua Nicaragua from February 23 to March 3, 2024. Our young men are in group A along with Cuba, British Virgin Islands, Anguilla, and hosts Nicaragua.

The 26 were chosen from 44 players who were called to tryouts on Saturday, October 21.

The FFB will reschedule the training.
