Tour activities suspended at Nohoch Che’en and ATM caves in Cayo

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Institute of Archeology informed this morning that due to current weather conditions and rising water levels, ALL water-based tour activities at Nohoch Che’en and Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM) caves are suspended until further notice.

The Xunantunich Ferry is operational as Pedestrian crossing only.

All other Archaeological Reserves are open.

The Institute of Archaeology continues to monitor and will provide updates as necessary.
