UNCAF selects 2 Belize referees, Víctor Cáliz & Juan Colindres, for UNCAF FIFA Forward U19 Men’s Tournament

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Central American Football Union (UNCAF) has selected two Belizean referees, Victor Caliz and Juan Jose Colindres, to officiate at the UNCAF FIFA Forward U19 Men’s Tournament.Caliz will represent as a central referee and Colindres as an assistant referee.

Caliz will represent as a central referee and Colindres as an assistant referee.

“Congratulations on your appointment gentlemen and best of luck,” the FFB said in a social media post.

The UNCAF FIFA Forward U19 Men’s Tournament, which will be held in Tegucigalpa, Honduras from January 19-25, is a preparatory tournament for the Concacaf Under 20 Championship Qualifiers scheduled for February.

All seven Central American countries plus invited guests Cuba, are participating in the UNCAF FIFA Forward U19 Men’s Tournament.

Belize is in Group B along with Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Cuba.

Group A comprises Honduras, Panamá, El Salvador, and Nicaragua.
