Prior convictions and pipe charge return Raymond Codd to Central Prison

By Aaron Humes: Raymond Codd, 52, was sent to jail for a conviction for possession of pipe and old fines for previous convictions that he could not pay.

Codd, a resident of Taylor’s Alley, Belize City, was busted Friday morning by police who were doing a routine check of the notorious hotspot.

Police say that they saw Codd talking to someone from through a wooden window of a house through the alley. An officer noticed Codd push an object into his pants pocket.

The officer then approached Codd and asked him if he had anything illegal to declare and he refused to answer him.

A search led to the discovery of a bronze & silver metal pipe found inside his right front pants pocket.
