Death of Josh Ku reportedly linked to petty dislike, says family after body found

By Aaron Humes: Orange Walk Town resident Josh Ku, 19, was found apparently stabbed to death in the area of Rhaburn Ridge, Belize District, on Monday afternoon.

But how he got there and what happened to him is still being puzzled out by police and family.

Police information revealed on Monday is that Josh Ku was with some men at a nightclub in Orange Walk and he got into a car around 3:20 a.m. Sunday, February 11, and was not seen alive again. Searches were conducted and on Monday afternoon, his body was found in an area near Rhaburn Ridge with stab wound injuries.

Police have detained several suspects, one of whom provided the location of the body, but no specific motive for the killing has been officially established.

However, family members say one of the detainees is the brother of a former girlfriend who was known to dislike him.

Police investigations continue.
