Premier League of Belize: Benque Viejo United draw 1-1 with Champions Altitude

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Benque Viejo United tied 1-1 with Champions Altitude at the Edmund Marshalleck Stadium in Benque Viejo del Carmen in Week 11 of the Premier League of Belize 2023-24 Closing Championship on Holy Saturday.

Ex-Altitude player, Collin Westby, nailed the opening goal in the 48^th minute to put Benque Viejo United ahead 1-0.

Altitude fought back and captain Dellon ‘Dee Breezy’ Torres scored the equalizer in the 73^rd minute.

Altitude and Benque Viejo United caught up with Port Loyola. All three now have 20 points and are trailing leaders Verdes, who have 30 points.
