By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Progresso defeated Wagiya 2-0 at the People’s Stadium in Orange Walk in Week 11 of the Premier League of Belize 2023-24 Closing Championship on Holy Saturday.

Horace Avila, back from injury, scored the opening goal in the 17^th minute. Kyle Budna made it 2-zip with his injury time goal in the 90’+3. Progresso 2 – 0 Wagiya SC @ People’s Stadium, Orange Walk

Progresso now have 15 points and are in fifth place. Wagiya remain in the seventh position with six points.
