John Searle, travel service pioneer, passes away  in Houston

By Breaking Belize News Staff: John Searle, a pioneer in the travel service industry in Belize, passed away in Houston on Wednesday.

Searle, who had been ailing, reportedly died after battling illness in the US.

Searle was the chairman of Belize Global Travel Services from 1961 to until his recent passing. He was also Rotarian and served the Rotary Club from 1975.

Family and friends have shared an outpouring of memories since his passing.
