BREAKING: Two persons, including a female police officer, shot in Dangriga

By Aaron Humes: Breaking Belize News (BBN) has been informed that two persons were shot tonight in Dangriga Town, Stann Creek District.

One of the persons shot is a female police officer and the other is a male companion. The female police officer was seriously injured and was rushed to the Southern Regional Hospital.

The incident was reported to have taken place at Ecumenical Drive near the educational institution on the outskirts of the Culture Capital, but other details are still forthcoming.

Police are investigating.
