Belize Weather: Fair weather prevailing but showers returning later

By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, generally fair weather prevails but an expected increase in showers is on the way tonight.

Skies will be sunny with cloudy spells and isolated showers; tonight, skies will be cloudy with a few showers mainly along coastal areas.

High temperatures reach 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 91 degrees inland and 81 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 78 degrees along the coast; 72 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at five to 15 knots. The sea will be light chop with waves of two to four feet.

Tides will be low at 9:46 this morning and 8:27 this evening and high at 4:02 this afternoon. The sun will set at 5:16 this evening and rise at 5:57 Wednesday morning.

Wednesday sees a few showers and isolated thunderstorms countrywide.
