More rains to continue tomorrow as tropical wave approaches

By BBN Staff:  A moist easterly- northeasterly airflow prevails over Belize.

The 24-hour forecast is for sunny skies with some cloudy spells and a few isolated showers are expected to affect the central and southern areas.

The sea state will be light chop to choppy.

The winds will blow from the East to Northeast at 5-15 knots.

High temperatures are expected as follows: in the coast, 87 degrees Fahrenheit; 93 degrees Fahrenheit inland and 81 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Low temperatures for tonight in the coast are expected at 81 degrees Fahrenheit, inland at 75 degrees Fahrenheit, and in the hills at 70 degrees Fahrenheit.

The extended forecast for tomorrow is for a few showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly over southern and inland areas then increasing on Saturday night and Sunday morning as a tropical wave approaches.
