ExportBelize participates in 2019 Mesoamerica Connecta

By BBN Staff: EXPORTBelize, a unit of BELTRAIDE participated in the 2019 Mesoamerica Connecta, which was held in San Pedro Sula, Honduras from August 22nd to 23rd.

Mesoamerica Connecta’s objective was to build the visibility of the Mesoamerica region as a region filled with nature, biodiversity, wildlife, forest, jungles and more.

With that, each country was given the opportunity to display and promote the Diverse cultures, foods, tourist attraction, and commodities.

 EXPORTBelize took this opportunity to showcase Belize as a country proud of its Diverse Culture, mysterious Maya ruins, Mystic Caves, Luxurious Resorts, and Sandy Beaches. Belizean products and commodities were also promoted during the two days in order to garner interest from countries in the region for Belizean Products.

 This was done by displaying a variety of Belizean products as well highlighting the Made in Belize Catalogue which outlines all export ready companies and commodities from Belize.

Present at the booth were also the Minister of Foreign affairs,  Wilfred Elrington, Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,  Patrick Andrews, Honorary Consul in Honduras, Richard C. Reisman, Charge’ d’Affaires in El Salvador, Margaret Juan and Export Business Advisor, Amed Figueroa.

Countries present were: Honduras, Belize, El Salvador, Colombia, Dominica Republic, Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua.
