Not mandatory to wear masks in private vehicle

Posted: Saturday, May 30, 2020. 6:18 pm CST.

By Aaron Humes:  Attorney General Michael Peyrefitte has clarified the use of masks in private vehicles.

It is advisable to carry your mask at all times, and wear it when in contact with police at checkpoints.

But otherwise you do not have to wear one while driving a private vehicle or with family members, and when attending a business mask wearing is mandatory.
