Car and cargo truck collide; policeman dies

Wednesday, September 17, 2014. PATRICK E. JONES Reporting: The police press officer Raphael Martinez has issued a preliminary report on this morning’s fatal road traffic accident in Toledo.

29 year old Marvin Sedassey perished when a Ford Escort car he was driving, collided head-on into a cargo truck around 7:45 am.

Police say that the fatal crash happened near mile 4 on the Southern Highway in Forest Home village.

Sedassey was driving from his home village of Cattle Landing towards Forest Home village when the accident occurred.

Sources say that prior to the fatal crash, Constable #1150 Sesassey was involved in an incident at a wake in Cattle Landing where he reportedly had to be subdued and a firearm taken away from him.

Police investigations continue.
