Police to put on show for City residents

Thursday, December 18, 2014. AARON HUMES Reporting: This coming Friday the Police Department’s Drama Group and the Office of the Commissioner are hosting Belize City residents at the BTL Park for a special interactive event.

We got a preview from Deputy Officer Commanding Eastern Division Senior Superintendent Edward Broaster who said the initiative is the Department’s way of spreading cheer and some much needed public relations for an often beleaguered organization.

As well as dramatic presentations and performances there will be giveaways for the audience.

Another item on the agenda is a play intended to be topical, dramatizing what officers go through at this time of the year to keep residents safe.

Showtime is 7 pm, entrance is free.
