Wednesday, July 22, 2015. Chrisbert Garcia Reporting: Police continue to investigate an alleged arson in the village of San Marcos.
30 year old Alberto Choc was in Punta Gorda Town on July 16 when around 8:30 in the evening he was told that his village house was on fire.
After receiving the news, Choc rushed home to meet fire personnel already on scene fighting the blaze.
Upon containment it was discovered that all of Choc’s household goods were lost in the fire – valued at $13, 000.
Police plan to question several individuals but have made no arrests.
