18 year old shot in the city

Friday, November 6^th, 2015. BMG: Belize City police visited the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) at around 2:35 on Wednesday morning and saw 18 year old Trevor Yard Jr. of Kelly Street, Belize City, with a gunshot wound to the left upper side of the groin area.

Yard told police that about 15 minutes earlier, at around 2:20, he was walking on Freetown Road in the direction of his home when Malcolm Myers approached him, took out a firearm and fired a single shot at him, causing his injury.

22 year old Myers of Freetown Road has since been arrested and charged for the offenses of “Attempted Murder”, “Grievous harm”, and “Use of deadly means of harm”.
