Two men detained for unlawful sex with a female minor

By BBN Staff: A 13-year-old female minor in the company of her father, a 50-year-old businessman of Belmopan City, reported to police on Sunday that between the months of November and December last year, she was abused by four men on different occasions.

The girl’s father initially took her to the police station to report his suspicion that she was having an abusive affair with a male person, after he noticed black and blue marks around her neck. A medical examination done at the Western Regional Hospital later classified the minor’s injuries as ‘harm’ and two men have since been detained by police.

A construction worker of San Martin area in Belmopan, 18, and a security guard, 20, are in police custody as two more men are being sought for the offense of ‘unlawful sexual intercourse’.
