Police arrest two young men in PG for keeping firearm and ammunition without license

gun in belizeBy BBN Staff: Punta Gorda police have arrested two men for keeping firearm and ammunition without license.

According to reports, on September 7th 2016, police conducted a search in the Joe Taylor Creek area of Punta Gorda on 20-year-old Devon Wendell Pratt of Cattle Landing Village, Toledo which led to the discovery of a 9 mm Glock pistol serial number MG447 containing a magazine with (6)  9 mm live rounds.

Nearby, police also conducted a search on 18-year-old Armin Bochub of Cattle Landing who had in his possessio a 9 mm TANFOGLIO brand pistol that contained a magazine with (5) 9 mm live rounds.

A further search of Bochub led to the discovery of a plastic bag containing 2 grams of Cannabis.

Both persons are detained pending charges.
