Chinese Businessman goes berserk inside Placencia Casino

By BBN Staff: A Chinese businessman who went berserk inside the Placencia Casino is at this time in police detention facing charges.

According to police reports, yesterday officers responded to reports of shots being fired at the Placencia Casino located in the plantation area on the Placencia Peninsula.

On arrival they saw 59-year-old Canlin Su, Chinese businessman of Maya Beach area in possession of a firearm in front of the casino.

The manager reported to police that while on duty at the casino, Su the only customer at the business establishment assaulted two of the casino workers by throwing coffee at them and then walked out.

Su then reportedly returned shortly thereafter and began banging on the doors and discharged his firearm in the air.

Police have since confiscated his licensed 9 mm Luger Pistol with a magazine containing 11 live rounds.

Su has been detained pending charges.
