Three Belize City men charged for public drinking

By BBN Staff: Yesterday morning at 8:00, police saw Shane Anthony Morgan, 40, of Western Avenue, Belize City, drinking from a Belikin pint while riding a bicycle.

Morgan was informed of the offence committed and was arrested and charged for the offence of ‘prohibition of public drinking’.

Around 9:00 a.m., Belize City police also arrested and charged Roberto Chi, 61,  of Banak Street, who was sitting on the steps of Lone Star shop located on Central American Boulevard, drinking white rum from a bottle.

Chi was charged for the offence of public drinking.

Belize City cops also found Jorge Atilio infront of Ricky’s Shop on Central American Boulevard drinking a Kubuli beer out of a black plastic bag around 5:30 p.m. yesterday.

Atilio was arrested and charged for public drinking.
