Thieves take over $60,000 in items and cash from Belmopan pawn shop

By BBN Staff: Yesterday morning around 9:30, Belmopan police responded to a robbery report at Frist Stop Pawn Shop on Constitution Drive, Belmopan City.

Alexia Neal,24, the manager of the establishment reported that at about 9:20 a.m., while at her business with another co- worker, two male persons of a fair complexion and a dark complexion entered the Pawn Shop.

Neal says that the fair complexion man pulled out a handgun and demanded that she open the bar gate.

Neal opened the gate and both men stole $8,500.00 and $51,000.00 worth of assorted gold jewelries,  and 1 Samsung Galaxy S6 edge valued at $1400.

Police are investigating.
