Posted: Tuesday, December 5, 2017. 8:38 a.m. CST.

By BBN Staff: Yesterday, students of the Stann Creek ITVET held a peaceful protest in front of their compound.

The students held placards that read, “We want our manager back.”

The pupils are requesting that the Ministry of Education reinstate their manager who was dismissed since her license was not approved.

The Ministry of Education has been enforcing and encouraging teachers and school authorities to apply and acquire their licenses from the Belize Teaching Service Commission.

Reports to BBN is that another peaceful protest will be held today.
