By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service is reporting that a cold front is passing over the country today.
The 24-hour forecast is for cloudy and windy skies with a few showers, periods of rain, and isolated thunderstorms over most areas.
The wind will blow from the North to Northwest at 15-25 knots with gusty winds. The sea state will be rough.
High temperatures are expected as follows: in the coast, 77 degrees Fahrenheit;77 degrees Fahrenheit inland and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Low temperatures for tonight in the coast are expected at 64 degrees Fahrenheit, inland at 56 degrees Fahrenheit and in the hills, 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
A small craft warning is in effect for coastal waters.
The extended forecast is for mostly fair, windy and cool conditions to continue tomorrow.
