Twin Towns PUP team to launch manifesto today

BBN Staff: Today, the San Ignacio and Santa Elena People’s United Party slate for the March 7 municipal elections will launch their manifesto.

The launch will be held tonight at 7:30 at the Cayo Center for Employment Training (CET).

Among the topics included in their manifesto is Accountability and Transparency, Social Programs, Infrastructure Planning and Works, Education, Sport and Child Friendly Activities, Tourism, Women Affairs and social issues.

Special invited guest for their launch tonight is PUP Party Leader, John Briceno.

The PUP Mayoral candidate, Marconi Matus and his 6 councilor candidates are seeking to unseat the incumbent UDP town council which has been dominant in the twin towns for the past 15 years.
