Independence police recover stolen items

BBN Staff: Over the weekend, the Intermediate Southern Formation conducted an operation and several house searches which led to the discovery of several laptops, tablets, jewelry and other items.

The police is now asking the public who were recent victims of burglary to visit the Independence Police station and see if any of the items are theirs.

Owners will be asked to produce proper documentation to claim property.

Selvin Linarez, 19, and Gregory Flowers, 25, of Independence village were arrested for burglary and handling stolen goods.
