4 armed men rob accountant of over $16,000 in payroll funds

By BBN Staff: Early this morning, BBN reported that Dean Nembhard, 22, was shot several times last night in the old capital.Since then, Belize City police have launched an investigation to find out who shot him.
According to reports, last night around 11:55, police went to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital and saw Nemhard with a gunshot wound to the left side of his head, a shot wound under his eye, and another to the chest.
Police investigations revealed that Nemhard was socializing on Berry Street when he was approached by an unknown man who fired several shots at him.
This morning, Nemhard died as a result of the gunshot injuries.
Police investigation continues.
