Businessman robbed and shot in Belize City

By BBN Staff: Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Friday night.

According to reports, around 8:40 on Friday night, Chinese businessman, Xiang Quan Chen,38, was at his shop in Ladyville, Belize when two masked men entered his establishment.

One of the men fired two shots at Chen hitting him to the chin and neck.

He was then taken to the hospital where he was admitted in a stable condition.

Police investigation continues.
