BBN Staff: The 22nd Anniversary of the Expo Belize Market Place was held over the weekend in Belize city.

The Belize Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) says that the  landmark event had the participation of 110 companies utilizing 189 booths.

Over 13,000 visitors flocked to the ITVET Campus on the 15th and the 16th of September.

The Expo has evolved over the years into more than a market place, but also, a place to test new goods and services as well as get feedback from consumers.

The main stage was also filled with our local entertainment; Ernestine Carballo, Cocono Bwai, Terry and the Bruk Down Band and Super Furia Band.

There was a wide array of food, drinks and deals for the public to enjoy and take advantage of.

This year, the Chamber made history in having the participation of the youngest exhibitor ever, Jaelynn Crawford, who debuted her company Craftastic J.

The BCCI thanks the business community, especially its members and sponsors of the 22nd Expo, including, Quality Poultry Products, the Yellow Pages, US Embassy, Bowen & Bowen, Brothers Habet, Image Pro, United Airlines, Wood Stop, Tenchtronics, Caribbean Tire, Love FM, Krem Radio, Morning Matters, Digicell, Way Printing, Studio, T-Shirt Factory, OYE FM, CPBL Cellular World.

The Chamber thanks all its sponsors and the public for supporting the event.
