SMART launches storybook titled “Do the Smart Thing”

BBN Staff: Belize’s Smart Telecommunications Company has launched a storybook.

The book is entitled, “Do the Smart Thing“.

In a statement issued yesterday, SMART says that it is committed to improving education and advancing literacy in Belize.

This book contains two stories “Smart is Awesome” and “The Smart Thing To Do” which focus on the importance of education, reading, and making responsible choices.

The stories were written by three teachers from Holy Redeemer Primary School –  Mary Mejia, Ana Wong, and  Julia Moore.

The illustrations were done by Saint John’s College top art student, Cleveland Staine.

Copies of the books will be given out to libraries and various educational institutions countrywide free of cost.
