Staff: No one was injured but there was a shooting on Belize City’s south side on Wednesday night.
According to Assistant Superintendent of Police, Alejandro Cowo, just before 7 p.m. on Wednesday, a man opened fire at a group of men near a house on Singh Street which is located near the Grace Primary School on Fabers Road.
Fortunately, none of the persons targeted were injured in the process.
According to Cowo, the shooting was motivated by an ongoing dispute between neighbors.
As a result, the men have been detained. Police will intervene into the matter and may possibly bring criminal charges against the suspected gunman.
