Pomona man charged for murdering Orange Walk woman

BBN Staff:  Christopher Bradley,21,  of Pomona, Stann Creek has been charged for the murder of Marta Gonzalez,68, of Orange Walk town.

Gonzalez was reported missing on November 23, 2018 when she reportedly left home en route to Dangriga to sell cheese.

On November 27, 2018 her body was found in Pomona, Stann Creek.

A post-mortem examination conducted on her body concluded that Gonzalez died due to a stab wound to the chest.

Police information revealed that searched were conducted in Pomona at the  house of Eugenia Baldera where they found items that belonged to Gonzalez.

When police searched a latrine at the back of the yard, they found her body wrapped in a grey canvas.

Police detained Bradley and later charged him for the crime of murder.

Authorities believe that Bradley acted alone in committing the hideous crime.
