Police investigating murder of Asher Saunders in Belize City

em>By BBN Staff: Police are investigating a murder that occurred last night in Belize City.

According to reports, the initial investigation revealed that about 11:45 p.m., there was a fight at Pier One when Asher Saunders was allegedly shot to the left side of his head.

Saunders was transported to the KHMH where he died shortly thereafter.

Police found a 9mm expended shell while processing the scene.

Investigation continues.
