By BBN Staff:Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Saturday night in Orange Walk District.
According to reports, around 10:40 pm, police responded to a report in San Felipe Village, Orange Walk.
There, police saw Victor Manuel Molina,49, a Salvadoran tied with a rope.
Edgar Perez,37, reported to authorities that while he was at home, Molina fired a shot at him causing a wound to his neck.
Police medical forms were issued to Perez.
Police retrieved the 20-gauge shotgun and investigation revealed that Molina is not the holder of a gun license.
Molina was detained pending charges for aggravated assault and keeping a firearm without a gun license.
