Mentally challenged teenager is arraigned for sexual assault of a minor

By Aaron Humes:A mentally challenged teenager is out on bail after being accused of committing a sexual assault upon a minor.

 Winston Gabourel appeared before the Senior Magistrate, Aretha Ford, where he was read a single charge of sexual assault.

Allegations are that on Saturday, April 6, 2019, he touched a girl under the age of 16 in her private area in a sexual and unlawful manner.

In court, Senior Magistrate Ford, due to Gabourel’s behavior during the arraignment, ordered a psychiatric evaluation to be done on the teenager.

She offered him bail in the sum of $1,500 which he met and is due back in Court #2 on June 10, 2019.
