Arson in Maya Mopan, Stann Creek district

By BBN Staff: Police suspect arson in yet another case of fire in Stann Creek.

This time it occurred at the residence of Ophelia Coc in Maya Mopan.

Just before 11 a.m. on Wednesday, she returned home where she saw her house engulfed in flames.

Police say that the house did not have any electricity and so they suspect arson.

One suspect is being sought at this time.
