Student, 11, shot innocently in Belize City needs help with medical expenses; Two Belizean companies step in to help

Posted: Saturday, June 8, 2019. 3:48 pm CST.

By BBN Staff: Eleven-year-old student of St. Luke Methodist, Kyron Green, was shot to the face on May 17th after a lone gunman failed to hit his target.

Since then, he has been paralyzed despite making significant progress.

His family has committed to raising funds to meet medical expenses at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital and airlift him for medical attention abroad to prevent permanent paralysis.

Well, today good news came from R&B construction/Hobbs Brewing Co.

These two companies sent a joint email this afternoon to our news team stating, “Our hearts go out to the family of Kyron Green, an innocent bystander who suffered a gunshot wound at the hands of a deranged gunman!”

“R & B construction/ Hobbs Brewing Co. would like the family to start a ‘go fund me account’ we will start the fund With $1000 and encourage all of our friends and family to assist,” the statement continued.

According to the donors, “This innocent child should have the treatment he needs!”
