By BBN Staff: Police are investigating a robbery in Western Belize.

It occurred on Saturday afternoon at Ping Ann’s Shop in St. Margaret’s Village, Cayo.

Two armed men entered the establishment and demanded cash, the 9 mm pistol from the shop owner, and a cell phone.

After they were handed over the items, they quickly escaped.

Police are investigating.
