Police: Peyrefitte and Usher took turns to rape woman

Posted: Friday, August 16, 2019. 4:20 am CST.

By BBN Staff: Assistant Commissioner of Police, Joseph Myvett, today publicly commented on a case of rape in Belmopan.

He revealed that a 38 year old woman reported that sometime around 1 a.m. on Monday she was at a social function in Belmopan when she was invited into a room.

Once inside, two men reportedly took turns to rape her.

Myvette says that after investigation, police charged Devin “Dj Perf” Peyrefitte, 24, and Denzel Usher, 23, for the offence of rape.

The family of one of the accused men have suggested that the medical form did not show any evidence of a rape.

In response to this, ACP Myvette referred that family to the law which states that sexual penetration by mouth, anus or vagina without consent amounts to rape.

According to Myvett, eyewitnesses have since come forward.
