Security guard shot during armed robbery of store in Placencia

By BBN Staff:  Reports to BBN is that a security guard was shot tonight.

According to the report, there was an armed robbery at A&L hardware in Placencia. Two (2) culprits held up the cashier and shot the security guard at the establishment. The robbers then escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The security guard has been transported to the Southern Regional Hospital for treatment.
