Man chopped to death in Corozal

By BBN Staff: Authorities are investigating the murder of a man in Corozal.

Around 1:15 am today, police responded to a report on 5th Street South in Corozal and found the body of Paul Anthony Castillo,66.

Castillo had multiple chop wounds to the body.

Police investigation revealed that Castillo was socializing with others inside a house when an altercation ensued and someone chopped him.

The body was transported to the Corozal Hospital where it was pronounced dead.

Investigation is ongoing.
