Trade mission from Barbados heading to Belize

By BBN Staff: The Barbados Investment Development Corporation (BIDC) is collaborating with Chamberlain Consulting Limited to hold a trade mission with 10 companies from Barbados coming to Belize seeking distribution, partnership, and acquisition of raw materials.

The trade mission will consist of a series of events taking place at the Best Western Belize Biltmore Plaza between November 11-16. The mission starts on the 11th with a cocktail social for the company representatives to meet with Belizean companies expressing interest.

The contingent will also spend from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. being trained on doing business by the Belize Trade and Investment Development Service (BELTRAIDE), followed by a grand opening of the business exhibitions and “business 2 business” meetings that will run up to midday on November 13. On November 14, the contingent heads west to meet with persons in Belmopan and Mennonite community, and they depart Belize on the 15th.

Products at the exhibition will include, beer, styrofoam alternatives, seasonings, margarine, and animal feed, among others. Services include software solutions as well as business coaching and consultancy.
