By BBN Staff: A sixty year old man is serving his second day at the Belize Central Prison.
He is Rafael Cowo and he is accused of stealing a five-gallon water bottle with water.
He is additionally accused of stealing five empty five-gallon bottles.
The theft allegedly happened on Sunday afternoon at the Prosecution Branch located at the corner of Albert Street and King Street in Belize City.
It was reportedly caught on camera.
Cowo pleaded guilty to stealing the five-gallon bottle with water and was sentenced to six weeks.
He pleaded not guilty to the second charge of stealing the empty bottles and is to return to court on November 20.
