Asian grocery store in San Ignacio robbed

By BBN Staff: Police are investigating a robbery that occurred this afternoon at J&A store in San Ignacio.

According to reports, two men entered the store located on Flamingo Avenue.

One of the men was armed with a knife and the other with a gun.

The men held up the owners of the store and hit an Asian woman in her head.

The culprits then stole some cigarettes and cash that was in the cash register.

The thieves then escaped.

An investigation is on-going.
