Jaguars pounce early, hold halftime lead

By Aaron Humes: With their backs to the wall, the Jaguars repeated the trick from their last match against St. Kitts and Nevis: an early goal and dogged defense and counter-attack.

So far it has worked as Ean Lewis got behind the defense and poked in for the only score of the game thus far.

Belize needs a win to stay in the race for Gold Cup qualification and know they will play down to the final match day after the scoreless draw earlier between Grenada and St. Kitts and Nevis.

The second half awaits as the Jaguars pursue a second victory in a row.
